Has Spider-Man ever fought Thor? You would think that would have come up with all of the cross-overs.

Apocalypse over the Hulk. You can't keep either opponent down for long.

 

Thor over Spider-Man. Even though Spider-Man is my favourite, I just can't seem him taking down Thor.

 

Green Lantern over Darkseid because I don't want Darkseid in the final four. Plus, Green Lantern would have a chance.

I never read the other fights between Superman and Doomsday just know that Doomsday killed him once. As for the Elite 8 how cool would a Thor vs. Green Lantern fight be? I love GL but vs Thor who knows.

It's pretty much what I expected...when you get this far into a fan based competion like this where skill isn't a factor (say like in NCAA Basketball) only the favorites are left. Everyone has their favorite thus closer matchups.
