Fantastic Four #5 or Green Lantern #7

Between these 2 books, which one would you choose from purely an investment perspective.

 

And yes I like them and read both, but can only afford one.

GL 7 had its big run up before the GL movie came out and bombed. There's no juice in the book anymore.

I have both. I love both. I have a FF 5 CGC 5.0 and a Green Lantern 7 CGC 7.0, But Dr Doom is a much bigger bad than Sinestro. FF5 every single time.

This book couldn't even compete when the pre-GL movie hype was going on.

 

Sinestro is an important villain in GL's world, but Doom is the greatest comic book super villain of all time.

Doom would easily defeat Sinestro with that green cape of his.

I went with GL 7.

Doom is a much better villain, but can't see FF5 getting a pop anytime soon, and its already an expensive book. Someday, when Disney owns DC, they will make good movies and GL 7 will pop once more.

GL 7 doesnt have to surpass FF5 to be a better investment. It just has to go up at a faster rate.

 

 

FF5 will always be the better book.
