I read on a few comic grading sites that the lowest grade a complete comic can receive is a 1.0, obviously that is not true, as I have seen complete comics graded at a .5. Has anyone heard of this?

There was a complete AF15 on the selling thread last week that was graded .5.

 

I thought that one should have been a 1.0.

 

I think your Hulk 1 is a 1.0 too.

Woohoo!! So far so good. Im happy regardless. Just feel like a .5 is synonymous with incomplete or unreadable, and i dont want to think of this comic that way since thats not the case.

I would have to say 1.0 for the reason there are no large chunks or corners missing. Sometimes I grade by defects that aren't there if that makes sense.

Been wrong on plenty of occasions before, but I'd be surprised if the book came back at anything other than 1.0.

I think it is a 1.0, but I could easily see CGC grading this a .5

It's close. Cover is barely attached. May depend on who's working at CGC that day. I say 1.0

 

Tuff book though & obviously nice to have.

.5 It's a Hulk 1 regardless. A great book to own. But 1.0 seems to be a stretch in my opinion.
