I've been on the hunt for a nice MIB Sectaur for a loooong while. While I was at the Maryland Toy Show I ran across one but they wanted a lot ($180) and it wasn't in great shape, though it was still in the box. Meanwhile I was bidding, and the high bidder on a VERY nice looking example on ebay, so I kept bidding and ended up winning it at a very nice price (less than $120) while still walking around the show (isn't that how it always happens?)

The next day the seller messages me (uh oh) and says "oh hi, I wanted to let you know that I made a mistake in my listing." (oh no, gulp) And goes on to say "the picture is of Waspex, but the title mentioned Zak (a different figure). I have Zak, but the packaging isn't in as good condition, so I wanted to see if you wanted the Zak (as titled) or Waspex (as pictured). I think you got a good deal due to my mess up with the listing, let me know." 

I told him, yes please send Waspex as pictured, since I bid based on the pictures and the condition more than the specific character. And thankfully he did! (Whew) so here it is in all its MISB glory to join my 80s MIB collection of toys. NO creasing and just a little paper lift from someone removing the old price sticker from the original retailer. Figure and accessories all still attached to their original backing board. Im in love!

After much confusion with retailers setting back their shipping dates or updating with no shipping date available, I received an email three days ago that Beachhead would arrive July 7th.

Last night I received notification that it shipped and it showed up today.

Either way... they are finally shipping.

So did my usual end of the month Dollarama and Gamestop run and I got a Jada metal figurine set that had Drizzt Do'Urden in it from Dollarama.  From Gamestop I didn't know they did this but they have $5 Friday's and have a bunch of random items.  I ended up getting this Mega Construx MOTU Battlecat for $5cdn.  Guy working there was telling me and showing me and I said why not sold lol.

Yeah a mix.  As a kid that how it would have been.    and yep the Mobat works.  I took 2 and made a working one that is complete.  Got lucky on that.  I was at a Toronto Fan Expo with Thirdgreenham working his booth and got to roam early and found a bunch of Joe stuff cheap and grabbed it.  Had the Gun piece that was usually not there but didn't work and I had a non working one at home.  Combined and boom I had a complete working one   Had to take apart for a broken gear.
