LOC Collectibles
Great day of talking with a few boardies and buying on Thursday. I was very pleased with the selection and prices. Shout out to @G.A.tor and Harley (is he on the boards?) for a couple cool books. Should be back on Sunday.. The two dealers I talked to were having a good show so far (in terms of sales)
Bomber-Bob
Personally, I had a terrible show. It was like a Rickneatstuff sales thread where I was always too late.
jsilverjanet
The selection did seem a little lighter this year. Still plenty of great books in the room but this show took a step back. This year was the most I saw non comic related corporations with booths. That's a trend in a the wrong direction imho mysterio, greggy and Larryw7

About 80 vendor's tables available (empty). Mark from Kentucky did not show up, and he usually sells esoteric comics and collectibles for bargain prices. To be fair there was a bigger vendor who usually books an island full of tables who could not make it, as his co-worker was not able to make Wizard Chicago. Long drive, many heavy long boxes. joeypost
I found the show to be underwhelming. Lots of books if you want to pay GPA prices on raw books. Easily could have spent triple what I did, but no one wanted to budge on their pricing. aardvark88
Robot Man
Sad to hear. I haven't been for about 5 years. Last one I went to was epic from a buying standpoint. If Chicago is doing bad, that is not a good thing. Looks like "comic book" conventions are on a downward slide...
