which is better to get

 

1) a golden age non key superman title 9.0 with white pages

 

or

 

2) the same book, same grade with off white pag4s but its a "D copy" for about 200.00 more

 

so basically do I go for the white pages

or spend a little more for the pedigree with non white pages

That's what it's all about. White pages are great, but if the off-white copy presents a lot better, that's the one I'd buy.

I would probably go for the white pages if it presents nicely. D- copy books (I own about half a dozen of them) are one of the more common GA pedigrees due to the number of books in his collection, that particular pedigree does not always bring a premium versus a same grade non pedigreed copy.
