Not. The grade reflects the flaw, though.

 

So if extra staples are added, would the comic be considered 2.0 or 4.0?

To put it another way, how many grades down could a comic be graded?

Not sure the exact number, but it has to be significant. Every single wrap in the book is now "damaged". It's not one flaw, it's many.

Not sure the exact number, but it has to be significant. Every single wrap in the book is now "damaged". It's not one flaw, it's many.

 

If it is an extra staple, it is not on the restoration list. It is the same treatment as the tape repair as it was not attempting to restore it.
