ASM 196...Grade and Worth Slabbing (big pic)?

I know that this is a nice copy...but worth slabbing?

 

On the upper end, where would it grade?

Were those 2 color-breaking spine stresses the only defects...I'd agree.

 

But, the lower portion of the right edge has been impacted along with the corner.

 

Not sure if that small amount of color loss at the right edge(across from Peter's head) is factory or not....

 

What's going on at the URC? Is there a tear on one of the interior pages?

 

The scan is massive....but I'd think the 2 spine breaks & the slightly rounded URC would place this book at 9.6, and the LRC would drop it to a 9.2/9.4

9.4/9.6. Hard to tell because the scan is so big!

 

Book really isn't worth slabbing unless its a 9.6

Ya this book is a dime a dozen, unless you hit a 9.8, by worth I take you mean sell for profit now - I just do not see this as a cost effective.
