a lot of creasing in the lower right cover but NO tear in the corner

there is a 1/2” tear on the cover halfway down,

big crease on the back cover and 1/4” tear on back cover an inch from the bottom

We’ve already seen the 1947 copy in this thread, and so by PM request here is the other number 1

a nice supple book.

some rust on both staples - no mitigation and no rust on the staples in the centrefold.

wear and tear on the top left corner and wear on the bottom right

a faint pair of lines running a half inch from the left and top - not sure what it is you can see it in the top right above the "L"

both the inside front and back covers have some discolouration - not sure

(I’d guess maybe a from a non acid piece of paper that stayed too long on the inside?)
