Based on my past history, I would doubt if this book would receive better than

a 4.0 or 4.5.

The staple discoloration/migration to paper is what I think keeps this to the VG family of grades. I think 4.5 is appropriate, as is the wear on the corners, writing etc. It might get a 5.0 too.

I disagree. This book looks solid to me and has great color. Edges look pretty good and no large creases or pieces out.

I'm in the 5.0 camp. This looks a touch better than some of your books that got lower grades Marty.
