Round 9 COMMENTARY

With one round to go, there is now a four-way tie for FIRST PLACE. Who blinks first?

Congrats to the four double bullseyes... old_dano, iceman399, Red_Hood, and Jeffreykli! :applause:

In the end, there can be ONLY ONE! :acclaim:

unless I am reading this wrong, wasn't old_dano the one who had the double bull, not grebal?

Oops. Too late and too many little numbers... doh!

Someone break down the defects on the ASM books I didn't see. I didn't pay attention I thought they were nicer.

WT (Fudge) I agree I looked carefully and used Overstreets most recent grading book, where are the hidden defect. There were gift grades on some and real misses on these as far as I could see.

CGC grading is waco they need to let the grading notes be available to all because they are so inconstant :sumo: . :preach::facepalm:

I'm not sure trying to use the Overstreet grading book was the solution - CGC doesn't necessarily follow their standards. I agree that the grading was a little wacky in a couple cases but I don't think the comparison is fair.

I'll be disappointed if someone robs me of last place, especially after all of the effort which I've invested in avoiding lenient, gift grading.
