I have heard the print run for the Atlas Menace title was fairly small as compared to other titles, does anyone know if that is fact or speculation?
I have not heard that before or really any indication of circulation among Atlas titles.

Love both those Menaces! :headbang:

WOW!!! Journey into Unknown Worlds #1 (9.4) already at $6,100 on the Pedigree Grand Auction. Seems a little high to me. Are these Atlas PCH books really taking off this much?

Thoughts?

That's probably on the low side for a JIUK 36 in that grade.

And I'm afraid so.

As usual, Pedigree's flair for hyperbole knows no bounds. The subject copy is definitely NOT "the only CGC 9.4 in the universe." I happen to be looking at another this very minute!

The Pedigree copy may very well be the Church copy; however, I'd personally feel a lot more confident if its provenance was certified by CGC and included on the label.

Beauty! I am curious of the back story i.e. how it is known to be a Church book.

Exactly. Caught the "only one on the planet" comment right away. And why on earth with such a high grade example of a JIUW, wouldn't you spend the $12 to have the book re-holder to reflect the Church ped.?

I know if I had the book that would be the first thing that I would do.

Not rare, but definitely uncommon... G/VG range worth maybe 50 to 80. A raw "F-" sold this past weekend on Heritage for 150.
