Please Grade My Tomb of Dracula #1 - 1971 Blood Suckers!

Picked this up recently for what I felt was a song.

Book is beautiful.

Spine: 3 very light spine ticks that DO NOT Break color. Can only be seen when angled under bright light.

Corners: All Square, UR, LR have light bit of rub/wear

Edge: Lightest of indentation to right edge middle

Back cover: Clean and white, Lightest of wear noticable at LR corner.

Staples: Clean and Shiny though they are offset by 1/4" to the back (would this be a defect?)

Page Color: OWL 10 White and smell newstand fresh.

Looks as if this book was read once very very carefully. Has newstand attributes, gloss, smell, page quality, etc.

Would love your thoughts. flowerred.gif

bc,

Nize book! 9.4 hail.gif

The staples setting is not considered a defect, and in fact is probably why there is so little spine stress.

Of course, we all want our staples square on center, but . . . if you have to give up one thing that's definitely the one thumbsup2.gif

VERY nice book..but does it appear to have a slight downward spine roll?

And outer edge upward roll?

Humidity damage?

NM if just camera related.. 893applaud-thumb.gif

8.5. The corners look a bit worn and I think I see an indent at the right aide of the cover near his cape, a slight tear/color break at the top of the cover between the M and the A in Marvel, and some wear at the bottom of the cover. So I am not sure whether it is from the camera or if it is actually there.

9.2 thumbsup2.gif

With Having the book in my hands that is what I was leaning towards, a NM- 9.2.

I know that one of the big things that CGC deducts on is spines, and this one's is NOICE. Though it does have the light wear at the corners and then the light right edge indentation as I stated in my defect list.

I'm hoping for the 9.2 Minimum with White Pages.

I'll see if I ever get the nerve to Tomb this Tomb of Drac.
