Purely for my own edification, this thread is for anyone who wants to showcase GA helicopter covers, preferably war, but any would be cool to see. What was the first helicopter cover? Let's see what y'all have to share!

Oh, well...let me be first with a terrible helicopter cover... I think this might be a tough thread cause helicopters weren't very common in the golden age, and my book is actually a silver age book...

Right? That's the issue that inspired my question, first from the high grade slabbed copy that was up for sale yesterday, then this one came up after I asked the question and I snapped it up! My dad flew helicopters in Vietnam and I thought it would be a good theme to start collecting. Not to mention now I'm looking at Kirby war-I had no idea he did war books at Atlas (around the same time he did Foxhole-powerful stuff!).

Someone else should show Batman 37, 61, American Air Forces 5, Action 214, 251, Wings 100, 115, 122, 124.

There should be a few more copter covers.

Air Ace Vol 2 #3 from 1944 has a very early helicopter bombing a German sub.
