Lots to get to but not a lot of time this morning.

 

First up to bat, a new Image book hitting shelves next Wed. 11/9/16

Bringing this one back because I picked up 4 or 5 more nice high grade 9.8 candidates

 

Not too long ago, I did this book with signature/sketch by Geoff Isherwood (those are currently at CGC for grading and shouldn't be too much longer before shipping out)

 

I have another op with Isherwood coming up at Rhode Island.

Same deal, signature and head sketch.

Below is a sample of one of the books that he worked on for me.

Keep in mind---the signing with Gustovich is this weekend---I'll inquire about head sketches if anyone is interested, be sure to PM and indicate this. I'd suggest either a Batman or Killer Croc---additional $30 for head shot sketch/remark

 

This is also the 1st time I've ever remembered seeing Gustovich at a show (in years, anyway) so there's a good opportunity here :thumbsup:

Picked up a handful of really stunning copies of this book over the weekend.

 

I'm going to comfortably say at least four copies are 9.8, two copies are 9.6

 

Signing with Alan Grant today, Keith Giffen next week and can hold for Simon Bisley if buyer wishes.

There's a lot of great stuff I need to try and get to in the next 24 hrs for this thread----but here's the long and short of what happened.

 

Yesterday I pooled from an original owner collection, of which the owner had been purchasing since late silver age. I picked up mostly copper and modern.

 

The owner recently passed away, and the books were consignment through a third party.

Mostly, I purchased Batman related titles but there's some other great material in there. Roughly I came away with a short box. I was looking for sig ops for Grant, Davis, and some other people I know I'm seeing shortly----a few people had asked if I had Batman Shadow of the Bat #1 for Alan Grant and Detective Comics 608----well, now I do :thumbsup:

 

Also, a full run of Gotham Girls #1-5 all signed by writer Paul Storrie yesterday----again, from the same collection. I doubt there was many books that weren't 9.8 contenders.

 

I did a number of books for Alan Grant, Mike Barr and Alan Davis---and even an Aquaman (1994) run of #0-6 signed by someone I never see at shows, artist Martin Egeland.

 

So there's lots of great pre-screen stuff to get to, and preparing for both Rhode Island and NYC Winterfest, there's going to be upcoming releases as well.

 

The biggest announcement though, and this will be primarily geared to all the Black Mask fans on the boards----NO ANGEL #1 personal file copies of the NYCC, CXC and Retailer exclusive variants. These were print runs of 25, 50 and 200 if memory serves.

 

These are Eric's personal file copies, and will be signed by both Eric and his sister, actress Adrianne Palicki (who co-wrote the series with Eric).

I've pre-screened the books with Eric, and all look solid 9.8 candidates.

I'll be offering roughly 5 copies of each exclusive (pics will be posted) to start and then begin a waiting list afterwards.
