It snowed yesterday!

Nice comics thus far. I forget which one it is but think it was either our army at war or go combat. Anyways a dc big 5 book and it had the winter and skiers on it. Was one of my favs .

 

There are some 1950s covers with guys skiing (one with the guy on skis being blind and the guy on his back guiding him) but you are probably thinking of one of the last issues of Our Fighting Forces, with them all skiing with a coffin. #173.

 

Possibly because of the winter scene, that was the only issue my young self ever got before the title was canceled.

Your snow only made it to us as rain.

 

I remember choosing GI Combat 197 as my first war comic off the stands because it was a Michigan winter and that cover had snow. Kanigher would often work the snow and ice into the plot.
