professional restoration company recommendations?

I am looking at getting some amateur resto removed and replaced by professionals, hopefully with a more eye appealing outcome.  Anybody want to recommend someone to go to, or stay away from?  Are estimates something that one usually pays for or is that considered complimentary?  This is my first foray into this part of collecting and any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Mike Dechellis at Hero Restoration. They do not charge for an estimate and can often give a rough estimate from pictures.

CGC's in house service, CCS. Estimates cost 1% of fair market value.  But the estimate fee is waived if the restoration is done.

Restoration can often take a LONG time. Six months or more. Both websites offer some guidance on what books are suitable for restoration.
