CGC grading question on Golden-Age books

5 posts in this topic

Hi,

I am getting ready to crack open another batch of books, but I was wondering if anyone knows or has observed whether CGC includes the interior covers in their page assessment. I have some books with off-white to white pages but the interior of the covers is pretty tan (one of my big dislikes!).

Just wondering if anyone knows.

I would guess that interior covers are not included in the page assessment. Otherwise, light, moderate, and heavy tanning would not have been noted separately on the old label, which I've seen several times. For example...

That is a VERY nice book. The tanning on interior cover would influence me little. If on exterior cover, yes.
