there is a big indention that doesn't tear but does go through the whole book: from the I& C to the A in America to Cap's shield, it's a sturdy book though, not a lot of spine ticks, if it at least got 2.0 I'd do send it to CGC....  the obvious tear is what I'm curious about...

As it was free to me, I don't know if it is worth the cost of grading.... I figured if I spent the say $50 to have it graded, I'd eventually get my money back.....right?  I've heard GPA on a 1.8 is $80..... I think that is fair to spend the $50 to grade, it really was a thoughtful gift!! Any help appreciated!

PXG grade would probably be a 6.5

Noooooooo, do not send this in to get CGC graded unless you want the lowest graded copy in the census  (hey i just got an idea)

I know  Robert (the friend) said that the LCS said it wasn't a "GOOD" copy,  I thought that it would at least hit 2.0 though
