Tnexus
Anyone else really excited for this? Seems like this could be a pretty big event for DC with long term reprecussions. It almost seems like its DC's version of Edge of Venom-Verse with the evil Batmen Justice League except that it's going to be cannon. The evil Batmen are supposed to be from alternate universes. The two prologue issues (Dark Days: The Forge, Dark Days: The Casting) are already out. Quite frankly, the event seems entirely skippable and repercussion-free. It's been enjoyable thus far though.
F For Fake
I enjoyed the prologue issues a lot more than I expected to. The whole concept is kinda dumb, but it's the FUN kinda dumb that I sometimes enjoy. aerischan
punksdropdirtysrh
They had me at "METAL" oh and Scott Snyder, of course. Prequels were interesting...will I pick up every single issue involved? That is the question... The Dell Otto variant for #1 is
aerischan
DC's Metal event costs the same or less as one of Marvel's family crossovers. Around 2 books a week at most.

Mattina's my favorite so far. Edited August 6, 2017 by Tnexus
DarkKnightReturns
This looks beyond awful IMO... This is gonna be a hard pass for me! I just look at this and yell "WHY?!?" "WTF!!!"

rogue14
Haven't read any books of this series, but was considering it. The krs covers look good though.
CaptaenRon
Oh wow I thought that Jim Lee WW cover was a sketch. I like it in color, might snag that one too!
valiantman
This is definitely "such a bad idea, it might work" The symbiotes crossed with Dark Ages Spawn(s) crossed with Amalgam Dark Claw. If I was 13 and bored in class, I would definitely start sketching these.

punksdropdirtysrh
Anyone doing the midnight release? I dig the variant. I hope they have some of band tour type shirts for sale at the shop, those are neat. Keep hearing great things about this book from those shop owners who gotten to read it. CaptaenRon
I don't know anything about a midnight release but I just called my LCS and got both variants I wanted set aside in my folder!
followtheleader
Seems really goofy to do the midnight release. But maybe there is more excitement in other states/stores. Patrick
TSwift25
I'm interested in seeing what the lasting affect on the status quo this leaves. Seems like it's more of an unofficial sequel to Court of Owls than a DC Universe altering event, but it's Snyder and Capullo so I'm in. Still feels more funky than meaningful, but that's comics, right? F For Fake
