It was back when a Doomsday appearance was extremely rare and it was great to see it done by Jurgens. I really liked the inks by Sienkiewicz for this project. I think it was heavy-handed but purposeful. It was a great way to show the flashbacks and to show the mystery behind it all. In the end, it doesn't add much to the plot but it is more of a story about the effect of the battle and how it affected people's lives.
