I liked the GOT sequel much better the second time, so I gave this a second shot.  I'm a huge Tolkien fan, and enjoyed the movies well enough, but I gave up after episode two.  I'm fairly sure I won't watch season 2 unless I hear tremendous things about it.

Season 1 was a long set up season, similar to the original GOT where it did not really take off until Ned lost his head. It looks like Season 2 of this show is going to be more action.
