Tomahawk #8 Nov-Dec 1951 DC Publications

Great series from the Revolutionary War era. One of the few westerns I really like and collect. Just great stories!

Book is slightly skewed. Top staple has some rust that migrates to center of book. Very moisture was once on this book. Light wear at bottom. Book and centerfold still bound well to covers. White pages. No musty smell. Very cool book.

Was $35.   Now  $30.

That's a great one...the cover depicts the story of the Four Chaplains...an incredible true story. Here's a primer from Wikipedia:

The Four Chaplains, also sometimes referred to as the "Immortal Chaplains" or the "Dorchester Chaplains", were four United States Army chaplains who gave their lives to save other civilian and military personnel as the troop ship SS Dorchester sank on February 3, 1943, during World War II. They helped other soldiers board lifeboats and gave up their own life jackets when the supply ran out. The chaplains joined arms, said prayers, and sang hymns as they went down with the ship.
