CLOSED & DONE! Junk Sale! GA, SA, Magazines and ???
3 3

134 posts in this topic

What goes better with turkey and shopping than comics? Had a few days off, got some new stuff and dug out some more.Thought I'd finish off the year with my last junk sale of the year. I've got the usual load of GA, SA, some cool horror magazines and some random stuff. I've got about 60 to list. I'll start today and finish off tomorrow with the rest. Hopefully, you can find something you can't live without.

Rules:

No problem children or HOS members.

Postage is $5.00 each for up to two comics, very well packaged. I will combine postage on multiple purchases. All will come with tracking.

I prefer to sell only to US addresses but might make an exception if I know you.

PM's and offers... I am trying to sell this stuff and want to get as much listed as I can. I try to price fairly. I probably won't have a lot of time to review PMs if I want to get this stuff listed. An "I'LL TAKE IT" icon takes it first. So, keep that in mind if you want something. When I get done, I will review PMs (in order of when they came in). If you have a question (other than a lower offer) post it and I will try to answer you.

Payment is by PayPal within 3 days FIRM. I will also take checks and money orders if you let me know after I send you an invoice.

Returns: No hassle returns within two weeks from when tracking says it was delivered. Return postage is on you unless I make a gross error and in that case I will "man-up" and pay return postage. I don't expect any returns though as I've only had 3 or 4 in 40 years.

This stuff all comes from a smoke filled, varmit infested, mouldy junk house. (Just kidding!) Here we go...

The Spirit #4 1953 Friction House Publications

The best issue from this short run Spirit series by this publisher. Great horror and GGA stuff. Very underrated. This one sports a nice GGA cover in bondage!

Has a 1-1/2" neat upper spine split and neatly split 1" from bottom. Bottom staple is popped. Cover still attached well at top staple. Small chip out of top left corner. Back cover has a small corner off edge. Covers are lightly tanned inside. Interior paper is supple and nice. Cool book that I don't mind keeping.

$85.

Straight Arrow #4 Aug 1950 ME Publishers

Cool black cover featuring Straight Arrow's "secret Cave" Awsome Fred Meager art very detailed almost Frazetta like.

A real nice, flat, clean complete copy. Several tiny spine nicks. Has a light "subscription" crease down center that does not break color. Some light wrinkles and bends. Small tear in bottom back cover edge. Off white pages. Cover and centerfold bound well to book. I don't collect a lot of western books but this is a great title. Nice copy!

Was $45.   Now  $38.

Popeye 1930's Wooden Jointed Toy

Very color fully painted wood. 5” tall. Complete and

excellent, bright condition. Elastic has stretched though so he lo longer stands on his own. Easily displayable on a small doll stand though. Hard to find item!

I'm not going to list much of this stuff this time unless I get requests. Doesn't sell well here as a rule. I do have a lot of this stuff but I'm trying to move stuff. If I get requests, I'll do some more later.

Was $75.   Now  $60.
