Billy is Straw Man.

Ah! And this was his birthday present then?

Wedding present, I think.

true, i believe.

but, lest that blatant disrespect make y'all think he doesn't love me, he more than made up for it with my 50th bd present--he looks over me all day long, keeping my malpractice to a minimum.

My gorgeouse copy of JSA 53, coverless, first 4 wraps missing, no staples, and it’s looks like there’s some glue on spine, ameture restoration included?? Perhaps. I found it on the curb of my comic store next to the trash, I don’t know I just could not let it die so I brought it home got my Action comcis 1 9.0 out of its Mylar through that action comics trash towards the back of the room and gave this little fellaw a nice peaceful home.

I also have had this SSOC comic since I was little which was used by me as a coloring book until my dad photocopied the pages at his work. You can see that the Sand-Lich has been colored green and Solomon Kane has been colored brown among other things. I like to think of myself as a serious collector now, but there was a time not too long ago when I would keep my comic books in my bedroom (still do) under my mattress or in shoeboxes. Remembering how naive I used to tells me how I've come a long way since then. I admit that I still have much to learn and I'm sure there is a whole lot more these boards can teach me. I have since upgraded this book, bought the previous issue, am looking for the third part, and wish to acquire either a slabbed 54 or an OA page from one of its stories.

Yes, slabbing this comic was "A very Lame Idea"

Helpful of CGC to note it on the label, in case you didn't spot it.

Why didn't CGC note on the label that "Billy Parker is a Weenie"?

Sense of humour failure profanity filter?
