This has been listed in Overstreet forever but I have never even seen a picture of one. Has anybody ever seen the Captain America # 77 Shoestore giveaway from 1954? It would blow my mind to even see one and I would spontaneously combust If I owned one!

It seems to me the shoe stores put stickers on random comics.  I have a few westerns with stickers.  Did this Cap issue have a special cover?

Probably a remaindered book with a shoestore cover.  I had a few back in the day.  Gary Carter wrote an editorial about mine in a CBM.

This could be it.  If it's been there from a very early Overstreet it could be from before he (or anybody else) had figured this kind of stuff out. Maybe it's stayed in as a copyright protector.
