Had it graded in June 2013. Story by Gary Friedrich. John Buscema cover. Werner Roth, John Tartaglione, George Tusca and John Verpoorten art. Issued June 1968. Origin of Iceman. Gorgeous colors. Note the white pages.

Fantastic Four #52 (4.5 to 5.0. Could be higher. Off-White pages) $400: :news: SOLD to jimjum12.

First appearance of the Black Panther. Story by Stan Lee. Cover and art by Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott. Issued July 1966.

This is another comic I bought new off the rack. It's in excellent condition for the grade. The creasing on the left side by the spine keeps the grade down. There is a slight tear on the top left edge. There is a bit more wear on the upper edge of the spine (about 1-1 1/2 inches). Nice gloss on cover. Straight edges. Sharp corners except for the top left. Very slight spine roll. Back cover is also very nice. Very slight tanning on upper left top from center to left edge. Very slight discoloration spots on reading edge of book around mid cover. You have to look at the book at an angle to see this discoloration. Staples are very nice. No discoloration or rust even though the centerfold scan seems to show a darkened staple. Also no darkened areas on the centerfold pages. Just the way the scanner took the picture. Tight book. Very nice centering.

For this book shipping is free and a 14 day return if you're not satisfied for any reason. Comes in a 4 mil mylar sleeve with acid free backing board and archival paper.
