It's a pretty big deal IMO.  Highest graded  1 of 1  Where do you think it will end up?  End up compared to the Cap 1 7.5 or the Tec 27 PLOD ??

Cap 1-$400k, nuts but why not?  There's an offer on heritage for an 8.5 for close to $400k, so nuts but not impossible

I got to see the book in person several times when I use to work at Metro. Such a beautiful book. It looked like it had been printed yesterday.

I'm obviously a fan. Pictures taken a few years ago. I've had the tattoo for almost ten. I don't own a copy of the book, but I will in the future.

I think there are a couple of copies in the wild that haven't been graded that could knock this one down a level or two in the highest grade ranking.  Definitely an incredible copy though.

You could say the same thing for virtually every single book on the census.

And yes, the 9.2 is from the Atlantic City Pedigree, as per the sicker on the label in the above photo.

Except that in the case of certain books (like this one), there are actually known copies that are in nicer condition.

Okay okay, I'll reiterate: There are nicer known copies of virtually every single key book on the census. Those comic fortresses are still, unfortunately, being used to protect books.
