PGM: Matt Baker books
1 1

40 posts in this topic

I'm thinking of getting a few of my Matt Baker books graded by CGC this weekend but was curious if others thought they were worth getting graded. Beyond that, it's always fun to guess the grade before it comes back. I have 5 so far I am considering but I might be adding a few others as well. Thanks for your help!

Is the PR 13 really that high with the tear throughout the entire book? Thank you!

Great point... not sure if everyone caught that. It's a real beauty, but with the tear through the whole book I'd reluctantly say 4.5 to 5.0 as it's more of a structural defect. Will be interesting to see what CGC says. (thumbsu

I was thinking the same thing. A tear through the entire book has to drop the grade far more. Still, it presents fantastic. Awesome seeing these Baker covers but when is it not awesome to see Baker covers?

Yep, did miss it,  don't think it will go as low as 4.0 though, 5.0 is where I'm at with it now.

@PeterPark I don't like having any work done to a comic unless it REALLY needs it.  A point or half point grade difference isn't going to change the rarity of some of these.  For pressing, there better be some serious spine roll for me to consider having that done.
