I only bid on the Sub-Mariner #35 but I came up empty handed

In order to buy the books one had to "throw out the guide". I followed instructions, threw out the guide, and without the "bible" I couldn't figure out what to bid.

Now I'm left in a dilemma. I failed to secure any books and I have to go searching for a new guide.

Why, did nobody bid in this sale? A rare opportunity to get some great GA matreial.

I bid on a number of lots but failed to win any. I placed what I thought were solid bids but clearly the winners were more aggressive than I was.

Now that I know the results of the auctions would I have bid any higher to win a few copies? NO. Many of the books were beautiful and a number were the highest graded copies. What does one pay for owning the best? Everyone has to make their own judgement.
