First time I've posted a book in this thread. A non-colour breaking bend on the right edge, a bit of over spray on the top edge and a couple of spine tics. That's about it. I look forward to your opinions. Thanks!

A professional press will not only help the front cover bend you referenced, but flatten out the bundle-type marks/ripples, at the central top of the back cover. I'd have the CGC do that and then have them grade it. If you do that, I think you're good for a 9.0 or better on this one, I only see one color-breaking spine stress near Spider-man's knee at the upper top staple area.

If performed by a professional, the overspray can be dry erased.  Do not attempt this yourself!  Also, is that a very small tear on the top of the back cover?

So sorry for bumping an old thread...

but I've always wondered about The "Overspray" on comics...

I have countless comics with this defect, I always assumed it was a manufacturing defect but I never knew IF IT EFFECTED the grade or how much?

could someone explain to me exactly what The Consensus is in the Comic Book world about "Overspray"?

is it an manufacturing defect? does it effect the grade? If So How much?

thanks

is that a slight spine roll ?  A slight spine roll and the crease i believe would put it as is at 7.0    I don't know anything about over-spray and would luv 2 hear some opinions.

It’s perfectly flat. Zero spine roll.
