Foolkiller
Recently, I've found joy in buying 10 cent DCs and books that are a little bit more... well... fun and rare for me. I've lost the hang up on grade alone, and enjoyed the books for what they are. I've been buying up many books lately, but here's three of my faves: Superman 76, 1st Superman/Batman team up. Love that book ! - always have....I just bought a reprint of it for my son. He wants all these "semi keys" along with the "keys"...thank goodness he doesn't care if they are reprints... selegue
I agree about Howard 33 being tough to find. I don't know why I got it in my head to finish a run of the book. Except for those @#$%^ Kiss issues, most of them cost just pennies. Then #32 cost a buck and I thought I was losing my mind to pay $2.50 for #33 after waiting patiently for too long. Poor distribution, apparently. Your scans look fine to me! You're joking about the printing in red vs yellow, right? Jack Finally finished my Howard the Duck run. This isn't the easiest book to find. I also just realised that the 'All New' above the 30 and 'Page Epic' below the 30 are printed in red rather than yellow (you can kind of see them in the scan). Maybe I'll have to look for another copy that is printed properly.
Foolkiller
Another fave of mine... from the collection of Murphy Anderson -- sweet 8.5 and a copy held by a legendary artist.

october
Another fave of mine... from the collection of Murphy Anderson -- sweet 8.5 and a copy held by a legendary artist. Beauty! Really nice colors on that one! Nice to see another person moving away from the "high grade" camp and into the "nice looking" camp. It's really hard to get hung up on the grade thing when you collect golden age or DC silver.

Foolkiller
Bought from Metropolis. I've really enjoyed going and meeting with Vinny and picking through their incredible stock. I've been digging out HG Mystery in Spaces, and it is a real challenge to get 8.0-9.0 copies of many of them.
