I like how HUGE the 12 cents box is on that Flash. No store owner could miss getting that extra 2 cents lol

Some of the Gold Key painted covers are really good. I just got this book today and thought it ranked right up there with some of the best Turok covers. This book has a back cover pin-up that so many early GK books had in the early sixties .

Wow, that IS a really cool looking book. I'm not familar w/ this classic-Key title; so like a Turok, Kamandi, Thundarr-style motif?

Some post-apocalpyse-genre, might-and-magic sweetness! (thumbs u (thumbs u

I had never read one either. The story line is post nuclear devastated america and the few surviving peoples. I don't have the origin so I dont know why Samson is so strong. But its full of mutated monster dino types and destroyed New York senery. I'll scan a couple interior pics later. Pre-dates Kamandi by quite a few years and made me wonder more than once if Kirby had seen this book.
