Hello All!

Wow, it has been a minute. Life has been *crazy* since we got back from our honeymoon & moved into the new house. We've both been working lots of OT + weird schedules, on top of all the "fun & excitement" associated with the pandemic. We've finally got the necessities unpacked enough that I can start devoting time to the new "office" (comic room / man cave). The slabs are unpacked, some of the art is up on the walls, and I'm working my way through the boxes to try and get things back in order. With the computer up, I can start participating in the forums again; which I've missed. I've also been able to pick up a few books here and there. Some good stuff working its way home in the mail, and a decent pick of books from the local shops.

I picked up an Uncanny X-Men #1 (2018) signed by Kelly Thompson, person_without_enough_empathy Planet #1, a really clean X-Factor #1, Captain America #25 (1st Sam Wilson Cap), and the Venom #26 ASM 300 cover swipes to feed the swipe obsession. :D

That's the softcover reprint of the 2012 Deluxe hardcover, yes? If so, great book. The Black Orchid miniseries is criminally overlooked; IGN's pull quote is exactly correct.

So Kav did something pretty cool for me knowing my reluctance to ever reaching out to an artist.  Apparently Kav has a pretty good relationship with Jeffery Brown illustrator of a couple of well known Star Wars books that focus on Darth Vader raising his kids.  Kav knew I liked his art and had recently bid on a piece losing out in last month's comiclink.  Like I said, I don't do things like that.  So Kav wrote to him telling him my love of Star Wars and my disdain of the NYC Subway. lol He sent this to Kav to send to me. lol

The caption is in regard to the book I post around here once in awhile, "No one listens to Andrew."

Thanks again @kav That was very nice of you.
