I got two books from ComicConnect.

Let's do your grades against their grades. CC graded VG+ 4.5 for this copy.

The Copy A - the hidden effect is the staple tear on the bottom staple but the cover is still attached.

Copy B  CC graded VG- 3.5

The hidden defect is the same tear on FC/BC. It went through all pages from FC to BC.

I gave grades to 7 different books. Would it be nice if I get grades from you guys?

A) I can see it getting the 4.5, but I can see it dropping to the 4.0 as a solid grade.

B) I  think could get a 4.0 too, despite the book length tear.  I'm basing that on the Pictorial Romance 13 for Peter Park that came back recently from CGC with a 6.0.

the first one seems a bit over-graded, but both are within reasonable expectations

I'd grade them both a bit lower than advertised... Which seems on par for CC.

Copy A: 3.5; nice colors but accumulation of defects

Copy B: 3.0, borderline 3.5, docked for tear through book & long creases.

Both are over graded by one or half point but we all know that is factored in👍👏🤧

This. Spot on, IMO.

Copy A: 4.0, I think 4.5 is too generous due to accumulation of defects though not an impossible CGC grade 

Copy B: 3.5, presents as a 4.0 but the tear through entire book knocks it down.

Not too bad. I knew ComicConnect mostly overgrade books but the prices are still reasonable.

CC was in the ballpark, the lower end of the grading scale can be as tricky as the upper to call. If CC moved this on ebay, graded as they did, their grading would be in the upper 5% in that arena of sellers. Best part is that you got two great books from them and the price was right.
