Popular Post Comixroc
Way too many awesome moderns to choose from. So I will list the cover that single handily got me back into collecting comics. The book also opened my eyes to CGC and Signatures. I’m mostly a Copper head. Stopped collecting after Spawn #13 (June 1993?). Caught the itch to collect again in 2007. But after 14 years out of the game... where to start? Decided to take a trip from Queens to Manhattan to visit an old friend: Midtown Comics. To my surprise, “Previews” was still in the game. Grabbed a copy, and started flipping through it. I had no idea who the “New Avengers” were, but issue #27 made my eyes pop! I noted the release date, and picked up two copies on the Wednesday. After months of admiring the book, I decided I wanted the book signed. I discovered CGC and the Signature series. Leinil Yu was appearing at NYCC 2009. I got it signed, and my addiction began. I remember when my copy was the only one on the census. I’m particularly proud to be the first one to get this book signed, way before this book even showed up on anyone’s radar. Catwomancomics, Ken Aldred, ADAMANTIUM and 3 others

Bart Allen
New X-Men #133 Underrated cover - naturally, in my opinion - with the Silhouette of Wolverine appearing in Dust's eyes gradejunky

Kevin76
Most of the covers posted are pretty terrible, there's isn't anything that jumps out at me. Either the character is barley visible or they just standing there striking a pose so the artist can sell the art later. What happened to the covers that had something to do with the story inside? Long gone I guess.

Long gone I guess. You can find them many years ago, but don't go too far back. The reason there's a controversy on the first Lois Lane cover is that Action Comics #26 doesn't have that story inside.
