Please Grade this Avengers 1, copy A 0

Not mine but I told someone I would solicit the boards opinions on two Avengers 1 and the Avengers 4. I would appreciate the help on what grade this looks like as is.

copy A we shall call this on. Close to separated at that bottom staple but not quite.

Seeing the restoration on the other copy makes me nervous about this copy.

I know what you mean but I believe they come from different sources and are at the same dealer's now. he was going to send them to cgc for grades but I suggested seeing what y'all said first so here we are.

Ah, that makes sense. If you were thinking of purchasing, then copy A would be way safer than copy B.

The damage at the bottom of the spine has me on the fence but my guess is 3.0

The staples look a little rusty, not a big deal though. Doesn't seem to have migrated through the paper. How tough is it to replace them?

I think that is why I took that close-up, they looked a little wonky but the light was not the best.

Outside of the spine this is a very nice looking comic book. 2.5 IMO.
