Running at 30% of Aquaman and this fluffer is talking about legs 😂

But imagine if it didn't top The Marvels the joy you would have experienced.

My daughter and I went to see it last night. She had heard from her friends it was a decent movie, which was what I thought as well. It was an average superhero film, and better than the past few DC films IMHO (granted, that is not a high bar). The CGI was much better on this than the past couple of DC films, and the turd that is Rebel Moon, as well (I guess Snyder is the smart one - cheap out on CGI and pocket $50-$100M instead).

They should have had this sequel in production once they saw the opening weekend for the first one while the market was still there for superhero films and Aquaman. The geniuses running WB at the time did not have the marketing savvy to capitalize on it then and they lost $100Ms on Aquaman 2 as a result.

If it hits $400M WW like paperheart predicted then I would consider that a huge success based on how bad the market is right now for comic movies currently.

How dare you malign Justice League!

It was so successful, it's currently # 9 on Netflix's most-watched movies.

Right above... Meg 2: The Trench.

(Which is probably the closest we'll ever ever get to James Wan's The Trench.)  :roflmao:

Action but a much less interesting scenario than the first, and above all a plot without suspense..

I

Spoiler

initially agreed 💯 then remembered the only "suspense to speak of" was the scepters, which they didn't go into great detail. It was more storyboard suspense, and then whomever thought of that grumble pitch and throw at the end 😂

I enjoyed it though

And to think where it started with all that noisemaking to force direction changes and multiple executive shifts (including Gunn/Safran recent changes to Aquaman 2).

Listening too much to "Do it like the MCU" destroyed any momentum it would build up versus going its own Multiverse direction.
