Whiz #145 May 1952

Got a little of that pesky bad right side 1952 Fawcett trim. Small piece out of bottom spine. Got some bug chewing at middle spine. Book and centerfold still attached to covers. Couple small bottom tears anda bottom right corner cover crease. Bright and no pieces missing other than noted. Light tanning to back cover. Yellowed pages but very supple. Nice reader.

Whiz #138 Oct 1951

Worn but solid complete reading copy. Spine wear and top staple is popped. A couple small pieces off bottom spine and right corner. A long cover crease diagonally from bottom of "C" in comics to bottom of spine. Several small edge tears. Centerfold well attached. Yellowed but supple pages.

Book detached from covers. Bad right side trim. Couple small pieces out of top and bottom near spine. Numerous small edge tears and a couple of creases. Worst is at top through logo. Centerfold is tight to book. Supple, yellowed interior pages.

Water wrinkled. No musty smell. Rusty staples that migrate only slightly to center. Bottom staple detached neatly. Top is just hanging on. Centerfold well attached. Big piece out of back cover. Lots of minor general wear. Off white interior pages.

Small corner pieces off. Long, spine reading crease. a couple small spine tears. Lower right corner crease. Back cover trimmed a little short in production. Book and centerfold bought well to covers. White interior paper.

Whiz #125 Sept 1950

Bad spine. Torn and split except for about 4" in center. A couple tiny corner chips. Back cover has a few tiny edge chips. Centerfold neatly detached with no ragged edges. Only a reader.

Decent copy. Slightly rusty bottom staple. (no water damage to book). Tiny, lower left spine tear. A little minor corner wear. Book attached well to covers but centerfold is neatly detached with no tears or ragged edges.

Whiz #113 Sept 1949

Has small newstand bundle dents on all 4 spots in each center part of book. Small stain in center, right side of cover. A few small edge tears and creases. No pieces missing from covers. Interior pages are slightly tanned and a little chipped on edges. Can be read easily with care. Cover is bound well to book and centerfold.

Small tear in top of cover by Capt. Marvel logo. A few tiny spine edge tears. Spine is pretty smooth and tight. Centerfold neatly detached with no tears or ragged edges. Nice, clean interior pages. Not a bad copy.

Classic "Atomic Cereal" cover!

A well worn but solid reader. Slight spine roll. Numerous small edge tears, wrinkles and creases. Tape on inside cover edge. Small chip out of top right corner. Everything well attached. Lightly tanned but fairly supple interior pages with a few small corner chips.

STILL $20. Great cover!

Long "subscription" crease down center of book. Lightly waterstained. Rusty staples. Top staple popped. 1" upper spine split. Covers are book are slightly tanned but still very pliable and easy to read and handle. Book and centerfold bound to covers.

Lightly water stained. Single staple is a little rusted and popped but cover is still attached to book. A couple very tiny edge tears and a tiny lower right corner grease that does not break color. Centerfold still well attached. Interior paper is yellowed but supple with no tears or creases.

Cool, WWII Nazi story in Spy Smasher!

Book is neatly detached from cover. Single staple is torn. First page is also neatly detached from book. A couple of very small splits on spine at top and bottom. A few small edge creases and tears. Nice, bright covers with no pieces missing. Interior pages are very lightly tanned but supple and pliable.

WAS $30.  NOW  $25. Cheap for a WWII book!

Fat 68 page wartime issue! Has great Spy Smasher double page center spread splash!

Has some water damage with parts of surface paper gone mostly at top. Small cover tear through the Capt. Marvel logo at top. A little rippled. Smooth, tight spine. Everything well attached. White interior paper.

Coverless o/w complete. Stains at 2 staples but they are still barely hanging on. Small tear in center of spine. Centerfold well attached. Nice paper. Great for someone who need a centerfold or just wants to read a super early Whiz!

Wow, this is an early one!

Coverless. Missing one page and coupon out of one non story page. Lower spine is split/torn. Two staples are rusty but attached at bottom. Centerfold is there but detached with a few small edge tears. Nice paper from the same place as the #12.

WAS $65.  NOW  $50. For an early single digit Whiz?
