Chaz G.
Hi all, I am curious to know if Marvel (or DC) made any other NYC photo composite covers like Daredevil #45 & Sub-Mariner #7? Appreciate any info. Thanks! Edited March 29, 2019 by Chazgee Gnasher

I'm with you on that, The Superman 289 must have been one of the last comics I bought of the spinner and I wasn't impressed then. Jtwpantera
Fantastic Four 33 is a partial photo cover, I posted my copy as an example, but it is not NYC. I really have no idea what it is. Gnasher

Does this count Someone please, for the love of God, tell me why Don Rickles is on that cover. Also, I had read how DC wouldn't let Kirby draw Superman's face, I guess this example is proof. It's very strange to see two characters so clearly drawn by different people -- it's a composite even before you add the photo. Chaz G.
These are some cool (& weird) covers. Since the Daredevil and Sub-Mariner books were in consecutive months, I was curious to see if Marvel tried this will all their titles that year. Thanks all! 1950's war comics

Gnasher
It seems that the DC ones are mainly Bronze Age. 1950's war comics
