Really? If that's true it can't be across the board. Spider-man, FF, Cap, Spidey Super Stories, Dr. Strange and the Surfer are maybe about 1/2" thick and comic sized, so I could see those fitting. Others are oversized (The Hulk, Cookbook, Fun Books). Origins, Son of Origins, Bring on the Bad Guys, the Superhero Women, Greatest Battles are around 1" thick.

It's because it's a white symbiote. Peter shops at Symbiote Wearhouse.

The ones that are shown currently on Ebay appear to be in the former category
