Popular Post KirbyJack
When I rediscovered comics in 1988, the goal was a complete run of Fantastic Four. I never expected I’d get there; it was just going to be a little occasional diversion. I quit drinking in 1990. I completed my FF run in 1991. You need something else to do when you quit drinking. GreatCaesarsGhost
I’ve gone from 30 books to 7. But it’s hard to stop there. I keep wanting to pick up more and I have to keep reminding myself not to. Ricksneatstuff, im looking at you when I say that Ricksneatstuff

grebal
^ That's not nice! ASM 151 was my first comic, bought it at the local stationery story. After that, I spent a decade collecting only Action Comics. I had about 85 slabs from #1 through #100. I never had any of the 4 mega keys, with the exception of the 1st wrap of Action #1 All were 4,0 or better with the exception of #3 and #12. They were all sold in 2013, and the money was used for a house. I do still have this, though. Plus, you know, the house. comicdonna, BladeTX and MGsimba77

Popular Post Ira K
I never really set collecting goals, Maybe I should since it would keep me more focus. I finished my Punisher 1987 run now I just need to upgrade a book here & there. In 2015 I finished off my Caliber Crow 1-4 run sig series. Currently working on Green Lantern 76-89 & X-Men 94-143!! oakman29, Larryw7, comicdonna and 5 others

Popular Post rlextherobot
Last year I completed my modest goal of collecting every issue of Doom Patrol (plus story appearances in other books) from My Greatest Adventure 80 through to the most recent series. I felt like I was done, but have recently decided to upgrade a few of the lesser SA books to a fine or better, just for my own satisfaction. That IH3 is my former copy. It used to be a 6.0, but looks like someone pressed it and it’s now a 7.5. I sold it along with my other 1-6 Hulk CGC SS books 2 years ago so that’s cool that it ended up with another collector who had the same goal! Being a Marvel zombie, it was especially gratifying to complete runs of some of the most enjoyable Silver and Bronze age titles. I had complete runs of Fantastic Four from 1-165 (including slabbed copies of 1-131 plus Annuals 1-7), Journey Into Mystery/Thor from 83-251 and Annuals 1-3, Strange Tales from 101-168 plus Annual 2, Amazing Spider-Man from 2-265 plus Annuals 1-5 (and an AF15, but I never owned a Spidey 1), Conan the Barbarian 1-65 plus Annual 1, Hulk 1-6, and Tales of Suspense 39-99. I had the opportunity (meaning the age ) to buy the books in these runs published from 1972-1976 when they were new.
