I had a Detective 31 in the early 2000’s that had ink spilled on the fc. The original owner cleaned it as much as possible but used white paint to clean up the logo area. The book was fully restored after I sold it.

I am pretty sure I have a spine split that was sealed in this one. I guess if you are going to make repairs with masking tape at least I can’t complain about the previous owner being stingy with it. I think they used the whole roll!:cry:
