Nobody owns a good bread knife anymore. Or a good knife. I have one quality knife, not a chefs knife or anything, but just some serrated Cutco thing I bought to slice tomatoes thin. Everything else is an annoyingly dull cheap stainless dishwasher safe knife with a plastic handle that will break and be tossed in the trash and replaced every few years or so. Those knives they use at subway can slice some bread though
