Popular Post RCheli
An Amazing Spider-Man #1 appeared in Facebook Marketplace today: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2397596110511005 The original listing was for $50k (now since dropped to $10k). Our conversation went something like this: Me: If you're going to steal an image, at least get rid of the watermark. Him: Wow everyone is tough on Facebook if you didn’t want if then you could just @#$%@ off [he used a proper potty mouth word] Me: It's a $7k book that you're asking $50k and it's not even yours. I'm just saying if you're trying to rip someone off, you need to do a better job. I mean, really. He's doing it all wrong! You're supposed to offer the book for LESS than it's worth -- like $4k. Then, when some unsuspecting bozo sends you the money thinking they're getting a deal, you pocket the cash and they're left with nothing. And did he not notice the mycomicshop.com on the side? october
Scammers and criminals generally break the law because they are too stupid and/or lazy to make money the proper way. We should be thankful for this. It makes them easy to spot. Even the long term "successful" scumbags do shoddy work, easily detectable by anyone with a passing familiarity on how untouched vintage comics look. 1Cool
Could he be drop shipping it for the quick profit or just a common scammer?
Hollywood1892
Hes an insufficiently_thoughtful_person There is also a processing number on slabbed comics. There should be a registered ownership site of slabbed comics, where people can have a listing of comics you can type in the CGC number and it will bring you too dm with the actual owner so you can exchange dialogue and notify him that some clown is trying to burn someone using his book. 1950's war comics

Check it out.

Yeah but you type in the number, the ownership wouldn't be made public, once the number was typed in than you would be brought to dm with the actual owner. 1950's war comics
