Spawn # 1. Never read. Bought new when it came out, bagged and backed since then. First time out of bag for pictures. CGC slab?

9.4+ IMO.

I would just a buy an already-CGC'd 9.8 if you'd like an encapsulated copy. They're very common and relatively cheap.

9.4-9.6. There is 9.8 potential on this one but to be safe, I avoid believing 9.8's exist. CGC always finds something wrong

I think there is a spine crease evident on the back cover and a small crease about an inch below the upper staple. I think a 9.2-9.4 and would agree that there are other 9.8s out there you may be able to get a deal on. Bokk is still sharp. IMO

I saw the same thing FC looks like a crease near top staple and BC has two bends so I was in the 9.4 -9.6  range

Thanks to everyone that commented, I appreciate your taking the time to look at this comic and grading it. I know this is not a rare comic by any means, I will probably not pay to have it professionally graded and will probably just sell it raw. I should hopefully be able to recover the $1.95 I paid for it.

I'm thinking 9.4.  Two pretty noticeable spine ticks (one of the front and one on the back), but a press might make the one of the back a little less noticeable and could bring it to a 9.6.
