The half of Ms. Marvel E1 that I watched had movie-quality VFX. Very true. MM was really well made, like MK. The quality production didn't help MK. Right now it seems they are putting stuff out there and basically either begging people to like it or even badgering people to like it. Instead, they need to just put out a quality product, do standard promotion, and hope it takes off. Even the most popular characters grew in this fashion, without the feeling of being forced on the public. Take a few months or even a few years to see which character have cought on and run with those. rexinnih
I do hope that Marvel/Disney is a bit more planned out and analyzing than just throw everything out and see what sticks. It will be interesting to see how these D+ show characters will be incorporated into the MCU big screen. I do now like the phrase "hate watching." Then you run into the pay wall issues with D+, and what percentage of the people have seen the shows. Will this create confusion for the average viewer that only sees the films, not faithfully watches all the shows. Remember, according to Samba (take it for what it is) Ms Marvel had 775k households, Hawkeye was 1.5 million, even WandVision was listed at 1.8 over the first five days. Let's be fair and say each household likely means 2 to 3 views, so let's be fair and multiy all those numbers by 2.5 for actual viewers. A hit movie will have well over 2 to 3 millions viewers in its first week. Is this show to movie setup approach really viable? How many movie viewer will have a level of confusion? MoM suffered from this to an extend with what was Wanda's motivation. How much will just need to be re-established in the movie so the non show viewer is up to speed enough for the film? If so, does this ultimately make the shows pointless?

I remember Marvel saying something along the lines of, 'the shows won't be required watching', but as you mentioned, I expect that audiences were/are confused about Wanda's character in DS2. I can't imagine that people will know what's going on in Quantumania without seeing Loki. I see this 2-way game as a failure. If they didn't waste efforts on these shows, I have to imagine that the movie quality would not be so much drastically worse than the Infinity Saga. Seems this was a lie, and they are trying to drive people to D+ now by making shows required viewing. Many people in entertainment are convinced that streaming is the most viable option moving forward. Even in the face a declining revenue (or falling short of forcasts) and flatting subscriptions. There is a reason Netflix is getting clobbered on the markets. Yet we see with films like Top Gun and Spider-Man that movies still have a lot of life left, if the product is well done with mass appeal. Remember, even Star Wars is apparently a streaming show only IP now. Using this approach is potentially high reward, but definitely high risk. Boozad
This is becoming the toughest watch ever. If I make it to the end I owe myself a drink. Or nine. Edited September 15, 2022 by Boozad Larryw7 and Artboy99 1

Artboy99
ep05 Spoiler There is a court case between She-Hulk and Titania over the trademark of the name "She-Hulk" and Jen has the guys she met on Matcher testify that she had been using the name She-Hulk before Titania did. Her assistant and Pug (weird name) go buy some clothes for Jen at some specialist clothing guy who makes clothes for superheroes. Daredevil's helmet is shown in a box. That is about all that happens in this episode. 4 out of 10. It is getting harder to watch gadzukes and MR SigS
PovertyRow
Well, for the first time I was bored. Just nothing engaging. Did I miss it or was there no end-credit scene? I have to go back and watch E4 again to get my "gin and tonic" chuckles. Bosco685 and TupennyConan

TupennyConan
E5 1. No Madisynn? No good. 2. Get ready for a very different version of Daredevil. The Phase IV version. 3. Thank goodness Ruffalo is gone, though his spirit remains, the spirit of Phase IV. Bosco685
TupennyConan
If the MCU drove-up comics prices last decade, it's going to drive them down this decade. Time to dump your Marvels, Boardies. Larryw7
