X-Men 1 grade bump?? 0

Hey All, I'm grateful for any feedback you feel like giving.

Here's my CGC 3.0 of X-Men 1. I'm considering getting the book pressed, cleaned and then doing a re-sub.

Want to know if you think it's worth my while or not. I think the back cover got hammered, because the front looks pretty good. Even a .5 bump is a $600+ increase as per GPA

Clean copy, no marvel chipping, pieces missing, tape, writing, stamps, nice wrap, etc. However, there's a little bit of rust on the staples.

In sunglight - the white line over Magneto's shoulder is a scuff on the slab, not a crease on the book

It couldn't hurt to have it pressed, cleaned, and regraded. The RC definitely needs it.

I would absolutely resubmit.  Never a guarantee, but there are obvious wrinkles, waves, and dirt that can be removed.  The book will absolutely be improved.  Then, just need to hope you get the right people grading your book.  I'm guessing .5 to 1.0 bump.

Book looks like it might upgrade. Though there appears to be a large water stain on the FC right hand side. So I think the grade will cap out around 4.0/4.5.

Clean but not press due to staple tears. Even a straight resub though I think would get a bump.

The book has a good look to it. To me, it appears to be a 3.5 right now, unless that staple rust or other staining has migrated to the interior...

I'd take the risk to get it resubbed, and to get it pressed in my opinion. Any increase on the grade can only help.

tbh this looks like a 5.0 book but its your choice one time I cracked open a cgc comic and I damaged the comic when I opened it you want to be very careful.
