I seem to remember a (graded?) copy on e-bay for sale in a couple years ago.

 

Either graded or it had a large hi-res scan. The book looked like a NM anyway. Anyone else remember this?

 

The seller (and again I'm going by memory) initially had a minimum bid of $585.00 for the comic and it didn't sell. He re-listed it at around $500.00 and someone snapped it up at that price. Pretty sure it went on a BIN.

 

So, yeah....$1800.00 a couple years later does seem a bit steep.

I believe the other CGC 9.2 (Cream to Off-White pages?) sold on Ebay a few months ago for $1,265.00.

 

$1,800.00 plus the Heritage cut = $1,955.00. Throw in sales tax if you live in Texas (I do) and it's more like $2,100.00.

 

Dr. Banner paid $900.00 for the DC 100 page #6 in CGC 9.6. I would much rather have that book than this one.
