Seeing this book makes me reflect:

This book is printed with manufactured aging and wear in an attempt to appeal to those of us who are drawn to vintage material. 

Yet, how many of us* would turn our noses up at a common non-key comic from the era approximated by the above book with that amount of wear as being “too beat-up drek”?

 

* As someone who had condition sensitivity pounded into him as a teenager, I fully include myself in this.
